Application Support Analyst
Location: Gerrards Cross (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £37,000 + Excellent Benefits

The Role
You’ll be part of a small, agile support team providing hands-on assistance for healthcare systems used across the NHS. The work will be varied, from investigating database queries and troubleshooting applications, to on-site software installations and user training.
The role is both technical and customer-facing, requiring someone who can explain complex issues clearly, work effectively under pressure, and collaborate with clinicians, developers, and other technical colleagues to resolve issues quickly.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver application and technical support to healthcare customers (1st–3rd line)
- Investigate SQL/database queries and troubleshoot application errors
- Install software on-site and remotely, ensuring smooth deployment
- Manage and resolve support calls and tickets within agreed timescales
- Escalate complex issues to development and track resolution progress
- Maintain accurate records through ticketing systems (Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow or similar)
- Provide user training for new systems and updates
- Test and verify fixes prior to release
What You’ll Bring
- Knowledge of SQL/database queries, Windows operating systems, and application support
- Experience using remote access tools and ticketing systems
- Clear, confident communication skills, with the ability to support healthcare professionals under time pressure
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a busy environment
- Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle, you must be based within 45 minutes of Gerrards Cross

Recruitment Process:
