Job Title: IT Operations and Infrastructure Manager
Location: Wakefield
Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days onsite)
Salary: £65,000 - 75,000 + bonus + benefits

I’m recruiting an IT Operations and Infrastructure Manager to join a growing and highly successful organisation where technology and people are central to their success. This is an operational leadership role where you'll guide a capable team, ensure systems remain secure and reliable, and play a key part in delivering a high‑performing IT environment that supports continued growth.

You’ll oversee day‑to‑day IT operations across a multi‑site environment, lead and develop the team, and take ownership of the organisation’s cloud and infrastructure services including Azure, Microsoft 365, networking, identity, and security. If you’re someone who thrives in a collaborative culture, enjoys nurturing people, and takes pride in delivering robust and efficient IT services, this is an exceptional opportunity to make a measurable impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead, support, and develop the IT operations and service delivery team
  • Manage daily IT operations across cloud, infrastructure, and on‑prem environments
  • Own Azure, M365, Entra ID, Intune, endpoint, networking, patching, and Disaster Recovery
  • Maintain system stability, performance, and security
  • Enable the business to move to a DevOps and Product Delivery model
  • Deliver improvements across service quality, processes, and user experience
  • Work closely with internal teams to support business growth and operational needs

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience managing IT operations or infrastructure in a multi-site setting
  • Strong hands‑on technical expertise in Azure, M365, Intune, identity, networking, and security
  • A natural people leader, supportive, organised, and delivery‑focused
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships
  • Any experience of DevOps or enabling software development teams would be a benefit but not essential
  • A practical, structured approach to problem‑solving and service improvement

What’s on Offer

  • Up to £75,000 + bonus
  • 25 days annual leave (+ bank holidays)
  • A supportive, people‑first culture
  • A modern tech stack and environment where you can make a real difference
